About the teacher
My name is Joy Rigor Kaplan. I have taught gifted education for eight years.
I graduated from the University of Washington and received my Master's degree from Pacific Oaks College. My graduate research focused on the screening methods for gifted programs.
Recently I decided to leave a traditional classroom setting to experiment with different educational approaches.
Aside from tutoring, I am also writing a children's adventure series, and a short story. I am intending to develop an Ezine that showcase student work.
